Every sample that is run is qualified based on its performance in our genotyping system. If sufficient sample was obtained via the original genotyping order, the sample will be run through the genetic monitoring system. The results for genetic monitoring samples are electronically compared to homozygous and heterozygous controls that were obtained from Jackson Laboratories. Reference sample validation was performed by Dr. Fernando Benavides (MD Anderson), a leader in the field of genetic monitoring. The samples are run on a QuantStudio 12K Flex real time PCR instrument from Life Technologies, and its software offerings utilize advanced algorithms for cluster analysis as well as quality control indicators.
