Go to the Breeding List and view the breeding record

Select to Add Litter from the three dot menu

Enter any details and changes to offspring preferences here and SAVE:

The litter is added to the cage where the mom is housed.

View and work with the litter from the Cage (above) or find the litter using the breeding record or directly in the litter list.

Select the litter and click to view to work on it.

Use the three dot menu and select Biopsy to get to the litter workbench.

This will soon say “Litter Workbench” as you don’t have to Biopsy when you go to the workbench from this command.

If you have not yet recorded numbers of males and females you will be presented with this screen to take care of that:

The left is info on the litter so far. Enter your counts per sex and record any dead or missing animals.

You can now save this information or save and generate mouse records.

If you save and generate you are moved to the litter workbench where you can use the blue and radio buttons to perform actions in bulk or on individuals.

If you choose to wean you will be brought to the workbench to select locations for the weaned pups.

It divides the pups into cages by sex which you can choose a location for. You can drag and drop between cages or import an existing cage to put animals in with other animals.
